Mid Cornwall Brokers
began trading in 1968 at 68 Fore Street, Bodmin and since those early days has gone from strength to strength.
From small beginnings Mid Cornwall Brokers gradually grew within the town until in 1985 our current director, Peter Old joined the business. The business continued to develop and in 1993 Peter became a sole trader. Following the purchase of 2 other local brokers in 1996 the business expanded over the Martin & Budge Carpet shop in Fore Street.
It soon became clear that 68 & 74A Fore Street were not big enough and therefore in 2006, Halls car site at Lanivet was purchased. On this site, purpose built offices were constructed for Mid Cornwall Brokers and it began a new chapter of its life on the 1st November 2009 when trading officially began from the new premises, “Clarence House, Lanivet” The large car park enables both staff and customers to park and is a major improvement on 68 Fore Street and has proved to be a valuable asset.
The latest development occurred on the 1st January 2017 when the company began trading as a limited company. In addition to the current sole trader, Peter Old, four members of staff were appointed as Directors, these being, Matt Old, Ian Bennett, Cretia Small and Kirk Razzell.
